Kenneth Cherry

Kenneth L. Cherry, 87, of Beloit formerly of Arizona passed away at Beloit Memorial Hospital on Saturday, January 31, 2026. 

He was born March 26, 1938, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Walter and Marie (Sojka) Cherry. 

On March 26,1982, Ken married Janet Lunberg. Ken worked at Fairbanks Morse for many years. After retirement, Ken and Jan moved to Green Valley, AZ, where they spent many happy years. Ken moved back to Beloit after Jan’s passing in 2013.  

Ken enjoyed playing golf, and spending time with family. 

Survivors include his children, Bryan Cherry, Julie (Don) VandenNoven, and Jodie (Mitch) Boggess; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, spouse and grandson Tad Cherry. 

Per Ken’s wishes he will be cremated with no funeral services.
